Terms of Service
By downloading or using Cat Breed Identifier ("the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Cat Breed Identifier provides AI-powered cat breed identification from photos, along with a breed library, AI chat companion, and photo quiz for personal use. Breed results are AI-generated and informational only — not a substitute for DNA testing or veterinary diagnosis.
2. Subscriptions
Pro features (unlimited breed scans and AI chat) require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Two plans are available: weekly and yearly. No free trial is offered. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions.
Free users receive 1 breed scan with full confidence breakdown. The breed library and photo quiz are always free. We may change free limits with reasonable notice.
3. Apple Media Services Terms
In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Apple Standard EULA.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to abuse the API (automated bulk requests, circumventing rate limits, scraping, etc.) or submit illegal content through the app. We may suspend access for violations.
5. AI disclaimer
AI breed identification may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain errors — especially for mixed-breed cats. Always consult a veterinarian for health-related concerns. We do not guarantee specific accuracy levels or outcomes. The app is a fun, informational tool for cat lovers — not a medical or genetic testing device.
6. Intellectual property
The app, branding, breed library, and design are owned by TQ Tech. You retain rights to the cat photos you input. You grant us a limited license to process those photos solely to provide the breed identification service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of AI-generated breed results or the service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms or the app features. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
