Scan isn't working

Make sure you're connected to the internet — breed scanning requires a network connection. If you see an error, tap Try again. A typical scan takes under 5 seconds. Free users get 1 scan — upgrade to Pro for unlimited scanning. The breed library and quiz work without an internet connection once loaded.

Scan isn't reading my cat's breed correctly

Use a clear, well-lit photo with your cat's face clearly visible. Front-facing shots work best. Avoid blurry photos, extreme angles, or photos where the cat is far away. Most cats are mixed breeds — the app shows a percentage breakdown across likely breeds, not a single answer.

Restore purchases

Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with. If issues persist, email TQTechOfficial@gmail.com with your Apple ID receipt.

Cancel subscription

iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Cat Breed Identifier → Cancel Subscription. Apple manages all billing. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Is the breed library free?

Yes. All 80+ breeds, their photos, temperament info, care tips, and the photo quiz are free forever — no subscription needed. Only unlimited scanning and AI chat require Pro.

AI breed result seems wrong

AI breed identification is highly accurate for purebred cats but can vary for mixed breeds. Results are informational — not a substitute for DNA testing. If you consistently get unexpected results, email us with the photo so we can improve our model.
